Celebrating the best of sacred and sassy music for men’s voices, this concert will feature the music of Bach, Brahms and Schubert as well as vocal jazz pieces and arrangements of songs from Broadway legends including Sondheim and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus Brings Holiday Cheer to Asbury Park

Billed as “The Masters of Good Cheer,” the New Jersey Gay Men’s Chorus brought their holiday program to Trinity Episcopal Church in Asbury Park on December 20. They played to a standing room only crowd on this Saturday evening.

The chorus presented Christmas carols and songs in a varied bill under the direction of their new Artistic Director and Conductor, W. Edward McCall.

The New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus is excited to announce that we have named W. Edward McCall as our new Artistic Director and Conductor. 

"The Board of Directors of the NJGMC is confident that Ed will continue the tradition of musical excellence that our audience has come to expect, while bringing a fresh new vision to the Chorus in terms of programming," said Rich Cahill, the Chair of the Board.

Vice Chair Ron Pae, who served on the search committee for the new Artistic Director, added, "We were fortunate to have a dozen qualified candidates express interest in serving as our new Artistic Director. We feel that Ed brings the passion and vision that the NJGMC is looking for as we approach our 25th season, and we are excited to have him join us."
